It’s another month which means another great cause to support through our Giving heART charity. For the month of April, the highlighted cause is Lily’s Hope Foundation, an organization devoted to helping families with babies born prematurely. The foundation provides different “packages of hope” for NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) families, such as the Hospital Package, which has basic and vital items for the families during the NICU stay, the Transition Home Package that provides essential items to make families feel more prepared as they bring their little ones home, and even Sibling Packages for the older brothers and sisters.

The foundation was started by Jen & Justin Driscoll, after they experienced the severe difficulties of having not one, but two children prematurely. In July, 2007, their daughter, Lilian Hope was born 7 weeks premature and weighed only 2 lbs, 12 oz, and about 6 years later in October, 2013, their son Aidan Patrick was born 3 weeks premature and weighed 5 lbs, 2 oz. After the births of their now vibrant, happy and healthy children, they were compelled to give back and help other families that find themselves in such an unexpected and urgent situation, but without the tools to help them navigate the long road ahead. Thus, Lily’s Hope Foundation was born. You can read more about their story here.

Lily’s Hope has continued to grow every year, and recently reached a milestone of helping 1000 families across the country. Through the Giving heART monthly charity, it is our goal to help them make a difference for thousands more. We have specially curated a collection of stunning lily art, of which 10% of sales during the month of April will be donated directly back to the foundation.
